It started with a love of coffee—and a love of going somewhere.

Over the years, some of our favorite memories have had a cup of coffee or tea somewhere in the middle of them.

We’ve traveled all over the world discovering coffee and tea—not only the places where they are grown and enjoyed, but the people who make them so special. We’ve sipped coffee in Costa Rica, surrounded by the landscapes where the beans were grown. We’ve lingered over espresso in Italy, where coffee is woven into the rhythm of everyday life. We’ve discovered the simple pleasure of coffee in Greece, sitting at a table with nowhere we needed to be. And wherever we've traveled, we've found ourselves drawn to the local tea traditions too—the different ways people prepare it, share it, and make it part of their day.

Along the way, we’ve met passionate growers, roasters, baristas, and fellow coffee and tea lovers who have deepened our appreciation for what goes into every cup.

And somewhere along the way, we realized that coffee and tea weren’t simply things we were drinking.

They were part of the experience.

They were the morning ritual before a day of exploring. The little café we stumbled upon while wandering through a new town. The espresso enjoyed slowly after a meal. The pot of tea shared in the afternoon. The conversation that lasted longer than expected because there was still something warm in the cup.

Those moments stayed with us.

So did the coffee and tea.

We began paying closer attention to what made one cup memorable and another forgettable—the origin, the ingredients, the roast or blend, the aroma, the balance, and the care that goes into turning something simple into something exceptional.

The more we traveled, the more we discovered that great coffee and tea don't have to look or taste the same everywhere. They can reflect the places they come from, the people who grow and create them, and the way they become part of everyday life.

Eventually, we started wondering:

What if we could bring some of those experiences home?

That question became this company.

As a husband-and-wife team, we created our coffee and tea around the way we actually love to experience them: with curiosity, with appreciation, and without unnecessary fuss.

We look for coffee and tea with character, balance, and beautiful flavor. We care about where they come from and the people behind them. And we believe they should be approachable enough to enjoy every day while still being special enough to remember.

Because great coffee and tea aren't only about what's in the cup.

They're about where they take you.
